Owner & COO, Lindus Construction / Midwest LeafGuard & ContractorFlow
As a family-owned company, the people behind the work matter just as much as the work itself. At Lindus Construction, many of our team members have been with us for over a decade. I believe the best leaders put their people first, prioritizing their happiness, success, and security. The bottom line comes second.
Andy Lindus is the Owner and COO of Lindus Construction and Midwest LeafGuard, a second-generation, award-winning home remodeling contractor that has been serving homeowners in the Twin Cities area and western Wisconsin since 1979. Ranked #4 CEO in the 2026 Power100 National Power Rankings, Andy has helped transform a family business started by his parents on a rural Wisconsin farm into a $55 million operation with over 160 employees and more than 100,000 customers served.
The Lindus Construction story begins with Kevin and Emily Lindus, who transitioned from hog farming to home improvement after Kevin broke his back falling from a tree. What started as handyman work quickly grew into a thriving construction company. Andy began learning the business before his teenage years, opened a LeafGuard franchise at 19, and rose from sales manager to COO before becoming an owner alongside his brothers Adam and Alex in 2011. The company has since grown from $6 million in revenue by 2000 to over $55 million, while maintaining an average employee retention rate exceeding 10 years.
Under the Lindus brothers' leadership, the company has earned the industry's highest honors: GAF Roofer of the Year (2022), Professional Remodeler's Remodeler of the Year (2012), Top LeafGuard Installer in the Nation (2021 and 2022), and Alex Lindus was named Wisconsin Builders Association Builder of the Year (2020). Andy was personally recognized in Professional Remodeler's 40 Under 40 Class of 2012. Lindus Construction specializes in roofing (GAF shingle and Englert metal), LeafGuard gutters, Marvin Infinity windows, siding, decks, and full home remodeling.
Andy is also the founder of ContractorFlow, a Salesforce-based CRM platform built specifically for home improvement contractors. Launched in 2021, ContractorFlow was introduced during a keynote speech at the Salesforce DreamForce event. The platform enhances the customer experience through improved communication, research, service pricing, and personalization — reducing deal time and increasing average deal size for contractors nationwide.
Beyond his business leadership, Andy is a well-known media personality in the home improvement space, hosting a long-running home improvement radio show on WCCO and making regular TV appearances on WCCO CBS Minnesota as a trusted home improvement advisor. He attended St. Cloud State University (1997–1999) and is a Greg Cummings mutual connection on LinkedIn. He is based in Baldwin, Wisconsin.
