ZINTEX was founded in 2001 by Bruce Zindel, Nick’s father, who was a successful custom builder in the DFW area. In 2001, Nick was a college student at Texas Tech when his father started ZINTEX. After launching a spray film business in 2005 with a $10,000 loan from his father and a sold 1982 Corvette, Nick experienced both success and significant business headwinds in 2010 and 2012. Seeking stability for his young family while maintaining his entrepreneurial drive, Nick took the opportunity in 2012 to take ZINTEX in a new direction—starting with just himself, a bookkeeper, and two sales reps selling Pella windows door-to-door in North Texas.

Nick Zindel possesses exceptional strengths in entrepreneurial vision, faith-driven leadership, and the ability to scale operations while maintaining a family-owned culture. Guided by his faith, Nick credits the success of the company to the grace of Jesus Christ and is passionate about transforming homes and delivering lasting value to clients.

After experiencing business setbacks in his earlier ventures, Nick applied those hard-earned lessons to transform ZINTEX from a small operation into a multi-state powerhouse. Nick’s leadership philosophy centers on measuring success not just by beautiful bathroom or window projects, but by the relationships built along the way. He understands that ZINTEX’s success starts with investing in people, and his commitment to employee development has created a company culture where dedication and hard work are recognized and rewarded. Outside of work, Nick is a dedicated family man who enjoys quality time with his wife of 17 years and their four children, and pursues his passion for waterfowl hunting in his free time.

The company launched its one-day bath business in 2016, which became the catalyst for explosive expansion—growing from three employees to well over 250, expanding from Texas to 11 states, and completing over 13,000 projects.
