Adam’s journey to CEO is a remarkable story of unexpected opportunity. In 2005, after a five-year stint on Capitol Hill with the House Committee on Science, Subcommittee on Environment Technology and Standards, Adam was actively pursuing his lifelong dream of a career in politics when he took a part-time job at Homefix Custom Remodeling. Little did he know that this decision would redirect his entire career path. Adam graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in 2001 with a degree in Economics with a Concentration in Environmental Policy.

Adam Shampaine brings a unique combination of political acumen, strategic thinking, and customer-service obsession to his leadership of Homefix Custom Remodeling. His background as a Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff at the United States House of Representatives provided him with exceptional communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and an understanding of how to navigate complex organizational dynamics.

His central business philosophy—that customer service and satisfaction must be the foundation for growth—has proven to be the cornerstone of Homefix’s success. Adam seeks state-of-the-art technologies for products and services while hiring only the most highly trained installers. The combination of these principles has proven to be a sound basis for the company’s astounding growth in recent years.

Adam’s entrepreneurial drive extends beyond Homefix. In 2017, along with his partner Tope Lala, he acquired their supply company and launched Installation Services, a turnkey install and supply company as well as a commercial construction company that has scaled to over $40 million in revenue. In 2018, Adam and Tope founded Pure Finance Group, a consumer lending company focused on the remodeling industry. This diversified approach demonstrates Adam’s ability to identify opportunities and build successful enterprises.

Under Adam Shampaine’s leadership, Homefix Custom Remodeling has achieved consistent recognition as one of America’s top remodeling companies. The company has been ranked #21 on Qualified Remodeler’s TOP 500 list, with previous rankings including #33 based on $68.3 million in revenue on 3,963 jobs. The company continues to serve homeowners across Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida with roofing, siding, doors, gutters, insulation, bathrooms, and window replacement services.

Adam’s rise within the company showcases his exceptional capabilities. Starting in the sales department in 2005, he quickly rose through the organization, served as Manager of operations in New Jersey and then Virginia, where he developed and honed his customer-first business philosophy. In 2014, he was named CEO of HCR to unify the company under his ideology, ensuring that Homefix operates first and foremost as a customer service centered company.

Beyond his role at Homefix, Adam has built a portfolio of successful companies. Installation Services has grown to over $40 million in revenue while serving as the foundation of his customer-centered business practices. Adam is a member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization), a global leadership community of extraordinary chief executives with more than 30,000 members from 142 countries. A Maryland native, Adam has lived in Annapolis his entire life with his wife Courtney and three children Jacob, Wyatt, and Coco. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for St. James High School in Hagerstown, MD, demonstrating his commitment to community involvement.
