Todd Schmidt is the President of Joyce Windows, Sunrooms & Baths, America’s Factory Direct Home Improvement Company, which has been improving homes for over 70 years. Todd has served as President since April 2006 and also holds the position of Vice President at Joyce Manufacturing Co. since May 2004, where he oversees the Retail Division (Joyce Factory Direct) and Information Technology, supporting a dealer network across over 30 states.

Todd’s educational foundation includes an Engineering degree (CME) from the University of Dayton, earned between 1999 and 2004. This technical background has proven invaluable in leading a company that specializes in designing and manufacturing premium-quality vinyl sunrooms, replacement windows, and patio doors. Under his leadership, Joyce continues the family legacy that began in 1955 when brothers Albert and Gustav Schmidt incorporated Joyce Manufacturing and named it after Albert’s wife.

Todd Schmidt brings a unique combination of engineering expertise and multi-generational industry knowledge to his leadership role. His technical education from the University of Dayton provides him with deep understanding of manufacturing processes, product development, and quality control—essential skills for overseeing both the retail and manufacturing sides of the business.

His dual role as President of the retail division and Vice President of manufacturing gives him comprehensive visibility across the entire operation—from product design and manufacturing in their 165,000 square foot facility to customer-facing sales and service. This holistic perspective enables strategic decisions that align manufacturing capabilities with market demands while maintaining the quality standards that have defined Joyce for seven decades.

Under Todd Schmidt’s leadership, Joyce Windows, Sunrooms & Baths has maintained its position as a family-owned industry leader while achieving significant growth and expansion. The company operates from a state-of-the-art 165,000 square foot facility in Berea, Ohio, equipped with cutting-edge manufacturing technology including Cardinal Glass Coatings and a fully automated SuperSpacer IG line.

Todd has overseen multiple facility expansions, including a 20,000 square foot addition in 2017 for in-house manufacturing of insulated glass units, and a 25,000 square foot building addition in 2021 that enhanced capacity for sunrooms and windows. The company’s dealer network now spans over 30 states, and Joyce Factory Direct serves customers in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, and Asheville.

The company maintains BBB accreditation since 2006 and continues to innovate in product development. Joyce introduced the industry’s first fully integrated vinyl sunroom, launched the successful Oasis Sunroom brand (which fueled growth into 25 states), and consistently invests in research and development. Todd also demonstrates community leadership through initiatives like the Susan G. Komen fundraising team “Joyce – Open the Window to a Cure,” reflecting the company’s commitment to giving back.
