Nick Zindel is the President and CEO of ZINTEX Remodeling Group — and the #20 ranked home improvement CEO in the nation according to Power100's proprietary 5-layer evaluation system. A second-generation leader who took over the family business founded by his father Bruce Zindel in 2001, Nick has transformed ZINTEX from a small property management operation into a national home improvement powerhouse with nearly 400 team members across 33 markets in 11 states, completing over 13,000 projects and targeting 30% growth in 2026. Nick's entrepreneurial journey began at Texas Tech University, where he started his first spray film business in 2005 with a $10,000 loan from his father and the proceeds from selling a 1982 Corvette. After that venture hit headwinds in 2010-2012, Nick pivoted to take ZINTEX in a new direction. Starting in 2013 with just himself, a bookkeeper, and two sales reps selling Pella windows door-to-door in North Texas, he built the foundation for explosive growth. The breakthrough came in 2016 when ZINTEX launched its one-day bath remodeling business, which became the catalyst for scaling from 3 employees to over 250 and expanding across the southern United States. Today, ZINTEX specializes in one-day bathroom remodeling, replacement windows, and comprehensive home improvement services. Nick is also a Founding Partner of Canopy Construction. He attended the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University and is a Qualified Remodeler Top 500 company (ranked approximately #100 nationally). Guided by his faith, Nick credits the company's success to divine grace and is passionate about investing in his people, with many team members starting in entry-level positions and growing into leadership roles. He and his wife of 17+ years have four children, and he enjoys waterfowl hunting, following the Texas Rangers, and supporting Texas Tech sports.
